We must renew our trademark every 10 years from the date of registration.
We get a 6-month grace period with late fees.
The official renewal fee is ₹9,000 per class for e-filing.
No concession is applied for renewal.
If we miss the renewal deadline, we have a 6-month grace period to renew trademark by paying: ₹4,500 (restoration fee) + ₹9,000 (renewal fee).
If the trademark is not renewed within the 6-month grace period, it will be removed from the register. However, we can apply for restoration within 1 year from the expiry date by paying: ₹9,000 (restoration fee) + ₹9,000 (renewal fee).
There is no government fee for filing a reply. However, Genserve charges some nominal amount for the same as professional fees.
